This policy explains how PennyPop handles anonymous browsing analytics on this grand-opening $0.01 preview website.
Last updated: July 24, 2026
Overview
PennyPop is a grand-opening $0.01 product preview website. Visitors can browse product previews without creating an account, completing checkout, or submitting payment information.
The site collects limited anonymous analytics so the operator can understand page visits, browsing engagement, and whether a session reaches 20 seconds of effective visible time.
Anonymous Analytics Data
A random session_id is stored in sessionStorage for the current browser tab. It does not contain your name, email, phone number, payment information, or other personal account details.
Analytics may include page path, landing URL without long-term fbclid storage, referrer, UTM campaign parameters, screen size, device type, operating system, browser, maximum visible seconds, scroll depth, and interaction count.
Country and region may be estimated only from trusted server-side hosting headers when available. If they are unavailable, the dashboard shows Unknown.
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not request or collect payment card information, wallet credentials, passwords, government identification, account registration details, precise addresses, exact coordinates, contact lists, or device files.
We do not create orders, process payments, or collect shipping addresses through this preview website.
Meta Pixel and Consent
Meta Pixel is optional. It is not loaded before you make a tracking choice, and it is not loaded if you decline non-essential tracking.
If you accept optional analytics, PennyPop may send Meta Pixel PageView and Stay20Seconds events. The site does not send Purchase, AddToCart, Lead, registration, payment, or checkout events.
Declining optional tracking does not block the browsing experience or product previews.
Local Browser Storage
PennyPop uses sessionStorage for the anonymous analytics session, Stay20Seconds duplicate prevention, visible-time counters, and recently viewed products during the current browsing session.
The optional analytics choice is stored in localStorage so the site can remember whether you accepted or declined non-essential tracking.
Use and Retention
Anonymous analytics are used to measure ad source quality, page engagement, device mix, browsing behavior, and 20-second completion rate.
The operator should retain analytics only as long as needed for campaign measurement and routine business review, and should periodically clean old rows from the analytics database.
